Texas Heritage Park

In 2004, MetroNational donated Texas Heritage Park to the Memorial City District. Located near the intersection of Gaylord and Memorial City Way, Texas Heritage Park hosts 18 of Texas’ official symbols, each with a short story on when, how, and why it was adopted by the Texas Legislature. Designed with a Texana touch, the park invites you to take a stroll and learn a little Texas history along the way.

Yellow Rose Garden Park

The Yellow Rose Garden is located between Two and Three Memorial City Plaza (820 and 840 S. Gessner). This garden of Texas yellow roses celebrates the story of Emily Morgan, inspiration for the famous song "The Yellow Rose of Texas."

Anne Wilford Memorial Park

Located between the new Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital tower and the new medical office building in the healthcare campus is the Anne Wilford Memorial Park (915 Gessner). This garden provides a beautiful oasis in the heart of the healthcare campus for relaxation and respite.
