In perhaps the largest freeway expansion in Houston’s history, the Texas Department of Transportation is expanding the Katy Freeway from west of the city limits to just inside of Loop 610 West. With major new interchanges at Beltway 8 and Loop 610, access to Memorial City will be convenient from all parts of near and far west Houston.
