Memorial City today is a distinct and beautiful place to live, work and shop and one of the goals of the District is to maintain and enhance this quality of place. The District has retained distinguished landscape professionals to develop environmental design guidelines for the District. The District then works with public agencies and private businesses to implement these guidelines in their projects to expand the consistently beautiful and distinct look of the area.

The District also works to maintain the day-to-day appearance of Memorial City. The District contracts with a landscape maintenance company to de-litter, mow and keep up the appearance of the public right-of-ways throughout Memorial City.
